Inclement weather and a hard-date occupancy deadline posed a significant challenge to this project owner who already had commitments to store and ship product prior to his building’s delayed completion.

Puget crews could not begin their portion of the site work until late in the project schedule because of weather limitations.

Streamlined Efficiency

Through a combination of creative scheduling and site staging we were able to place over 6000 tons of hot-mix asphalt in a narrow time window and without preventing access or disrupting operations. The Newcold Tacoma project was the recipient of the Washington Asphalt Pavement Association’s 2019 Best Commercial Paving Job for Western Washington.
