The Lemay, America's Car Museum

A High End Contractor for a High End Job

Built to house one of the world’s largest and diverse collections of classic cars, the Lemay had a choice when hiring a contractor to repave its parking area. Adjacent to the Tacoma Dome in a prominent part of the city, hiring a contractor who could do the job well and deliver on schedule was essential.

Summer 2018

Brown's Point Lighthouse Park

Delivering a Quality Project on a Tight Timeline

A landmark in NE Tacoma, this historic park required extensive ADA and parking upgrades. Puget was the low-bidder to replace most of the site hardscapes and construct a new parking lot along with its associated landscaping. The project timeline was difficult as it required the contract work to be suspended mid-summer for an annual salmon bake beloved by many Tacoma residents.

Pierce County Overlay Program

Seamless Execution on a Demanding Schedule

High traffic volumes, a demanding schedule, and substantial tonnages combined to make Pierce County’s primary road maintenance contract a challenge. When the work was complete, we received positive feedback on our efforts and on the ease with which inspection staff was able to work with Puget crews and deliver a premium product to taxpayers.

NewCold Advanced Storage Logistics

Demonstrating Our Commitment to Stay on Schedule

Inclement weather and a hard-date occupancy deadline posed a significant challenge to this project owner who already had commitments to store and ship product prior to his building’s delayed completion. Puget crews could not begin their portion of the site work until late in the project schedule because of weather limitations.
